Throughout our website, we gush about our technicians. With good reason. Every member of our team is skilled, knowledgeable and hardworking. In addition to being dedicated to the Company. Pest control is not an easy industry to work in. It can be stressful, time-consuming, and not for the faint-hearted. A good pest control technician needs to be analytical, inquisitive and a problem solver. Finding a good technician is like looking for a needle in a haystack. So, we count ourselves very lucky to have cultivated such a great team. So without further ado, meet our pest control technicians!
Daniel Ronan, Managing Director
Firstly, meet our Managing Director, Daniel. Daniel set up Ultimate Pest Control in 2017. After 7 years in the pest control industry.
Daniel started Ultimate Pest Control after becoming unhappy with how his previous employer was operating. Emphasising speed over service, and setting technicians unrealistic targets. Daniel was put under enormous pressure. As he was unable to provide his customers with the service they
deserved. So, using his experience and industry insights, Daniel set up UPC. And dedicated himself to building the best pest control company in Ireland. By providing unrivalled solutions and service to every customer. Daniel is a trained and certified level 3 pest control technician. Meaning there is no pest issue that he is not qualified to eradicate. As the Managing Director, Daniel oversees every aspect of the business. Although that still doesn’t stop him from doing routine services, emergency calls outs and even drain surveys and repairs.
Joe Carey, Service Manager
Secondly, we have Joe. Joe has worked in the pest control industry for 17 years. In 2018, he joined Ultimate Pest Control as a pest control technician. As the Company has grown, Joe has taken on more responsibility.
Joe is now Service Manager. Meaning he oversees all the daily operations of the business. Allocating jobs and contracts, managing the technicians, and dealing with any issues that may arise.
Joe is an invaluable member of our team. In addition to his duties as service manager, Joe is still on the road. Completing jobs and servicing his area. North Dublin, into Meath and Louth. Joe knows every aspect of pest control. However, he is our expert bird proofer. So, if you call about a pest bird issue, chances are Joe will be the one out to solve it!
Ian Winston, Technical Surveyor
Thirdly, meet Ian. Ian started in Ultimate Pest Control in early 2020. After almost 3 years of pest control experience. Starting in UPC as a technician, Ian began servicing South Dublin and Wicklow.
Ian is a level 2 certified technician. And as a result, is qualified in all aspects of pest control. Additionally, he is our wildlife expert. Specialising in the trapping and removal of foxes and squirrels.
Over the past few years, Ian specialised in commercial pest control. As a result, he developed an interest in becoming a surveyor. A surveyor inspects premises to determine active or potential infestations. And then works with the customer and a technician to put a pest management system in place. This year, Ian became UPC’s first Technical Surveyor.
